FASHION: London Fashion Week: What's In My Bag

It's almost that time of the year again. London Fashion Week is the time of year that unites us all through fashion, the art behind the fashion and the declaration of subjective style. It's a place that sets trends, revives old trends, and we are able to see the fabulous work of the designers who have come together to create the ultimate in FASHION. I've been lucky to be invited to London Fashion Week with PlusMinus Magazine, and I'm super excited to see the outfits, the shows, and of course, meeting new people, which is always the bonus. Here is a little sneak peek into what I'm carrying in my handbag for London Fashion Week. Going as light as possible is key, especially because of the queues, the waiting and the travel. However, we need our essentials and here are some of the things I'm deciding to pack.

Inside My LFW Handbag
Make-Up Bag - Anthropologie

This gorgeous faux leather bag from Anthropologie is the perfect travel size make-up bag, the perfect shape to slot nicely into your bag and house all your essentials.  It's complete with a gorgeous mint green interior and rose gold hardware. Shop Anthropologie here. *Not an affilate link*

Kylie Lipkit (Posie K)

A while ago I caved and bought the Kylie Jenner lipkit in Posie K. I have been enjoying these after being introduced by a friend, I've found they are not overly drying and they are exceptionally long-wearing through drinking and eating. I do touch up every five or six hours though, because a crusty or worn lip never looks attractive.

Soap and Glory Supercat Eyeliner

This eyeliner is super wet, really easy to apply and it's been a favourite for a while now. The nib is perfect, like a felt tip and the application is smooth. I find my eyeliner is one of the first things to wear off, especially if it's winged. It may smudge a little and being able to touch it up is key.

Nuxe Body Oil

I love applying this to my skin! It smells divine and gives your skin a sheen and glittery look (but not too much). It's subtle and can add a little bit of shine back into your dull skin, especially during winter, I love this travel size version because it's very easy to slide in your make-up bag. Shop here. *Not an affilate link*

Issey Miyake Perfume

I love this slender perfume by Issey Miyake. It's super floral, quite fresh and just the perfect scent to spritz when you need a little pick me up. It's not one of my go-to perfumes or one that I really wear that much but for travelling it is a favourite. See their current range here. *Not an affilate link*

Chanel Compact

A mirror is a must when you're out and about, to check your hair and make-up, and just because it's such a staple accessory for a lady to carry. This Chanel compact comes with powder, which I rarely use (dry skin suffers will understand) but I do love the mirror and it's usually always with me.

YSL Cardholder

This goes without saying. I love it. Really love it. It keeps all my cards in and it saves space in my bag, so I don't have to carry a big chunky purse.

Apple iPad

For train travel, an iPad is great if you don't own a Kindle. You can read on it, brain train if you wish, listen to music, do a little writing or play games, without sucking the life out of your phone. It's an essential for me when I travel and it slots nicely into my bag.

Ohh Deer Notepad

I think having a notepad is vital for making notes, especially at London Fashion Week when I have to take notes and remember what I've seen or make notes of designer's and people's names. I love this one by Ohh Deer because it's the most gorgeous design and the tips of the sheets are dipped in rose gold so it just looks divine and the perfect pad to whip out! Check out more from Ohh Deer here. *Not an affilate link*

Business Cards

I always carry business cards with me, because you never know when you may need to give one out. For any upcoming bloggers or service providers, make sure you get kitted out with business cards, especially if you plan on going to big events. It's a great way to network. Print your cards here and receive a discount. *Not an affilate link*.
